Your Role
Join a dynamic and collaborative procurement team, and play an integral role in ensuring the acquisition of goods and services necessary for operations. As a Buying Professional, you will manage the ordering process, working alongside cross-functional teams to enhance cost efficiency, streamline processes, and support sustainability initiatives. You will be responsible for the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiations to delivery, ensuring that all requirements are met effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement Tasks:

    • Oversee the request for quotations process with local suppliers for low purchase volumes.
    • Work with internal stakeholders to define specifications for spare parts during sourcing and supplier selection.
    • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and align on terms and conditions.
    • Analyze data to create sourcing strategies by component and supplier.
    • Maintain supplier master data and drive vendor development initiatives.
    • Support sustainability efforts in procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Ordering Tasks:

    • Manage the process from purchase requisitions to purchase orders, liaising with both internal and external vendors.
    • Ensure timely deliveries by monitoring orders and prioritizing requests.
    • Provide delivery updates to customer service and project teams.
    • Handle bill placement, ensuring accurate invoice submission to Accounts Payable.
    • Maintain accurate material master data in SAP and other systems to ensure smooth ordering and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working in an international team.
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to change.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP MM Module.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Interest in digitalizing and automating solutions.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English.
