Lead Product Designer (Remote)

A global design and engineering collective is seeking a Product Designer to join its distributed team. The company works with high-growth teams across crypto, AI, and fintech including blockchains, DeFi protocols, DAOs, NFT marketplaces, and more.

The team prioritizes a supportive and collaborative environment, offering mentorship, feedback sessions, and opportunities to grow in user experience and design thinking. Designers are encouraged to take ownership of projects and contribute meaningfully to client work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead design projects, including client communications and task management

• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a strong feedback culture

• Conduct user testing and translate findings into UX improvements

• Conceptualize and design innovative UI/UX experiences

• Own the full lifecycle of design and production work

• Provide cross-functional UX support to ensure product consistency

QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong portfolio showcasing UI and visual design work

• Experience designing for web, mobile, or digital products

• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, and prototyping software

• Ability to communicate design concepts through wireframes, prototypes, and sketches

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams

• Bonus: Experience prototyping with HTML/CSS, InVision, Framer, etc.
