Web3 has unlocked decentralized finance but still lacks mass-market consumer applications.
We believe blockchain technology is the foundation for the next generation of open internet apps creating a true virtual society where businesses and users move freely between platforms.
To power this, were building the client:

A fast, cost-effective EVM-compatible L1 blockchain.

Capable of processing over 400,000 transactions per second with sub-second latency and low fees.

Designed to unlock new types of real-time, on-chain applications starting with gaming, social, and metaverse experiences.
The client is being developed by Virtual Society Foundation (VSF), initiated by Improbable, a pioneer in building virtual worlds for over a decade.
VSF is funded by MSquared ($150M raised from a16z crypto, SoftBank, and others).
About the Role
We're seeking a Head of Marketing to lead our brand strategy, drive user acquisition, and grow awareness in the blockchain and gaming spaces.
You'll own marketing end-to-end from brand identity to campaign execution and play a critical role in positioning the client for success.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute overall marketing strategy, branding, and user acquisition initiatives.

Craft compelling go-to-market strategies for product launches and new features.

Strengthen and evolve the clients brand identity in the blockchain gaming ecosystem.

Build and lead a high-performing marketing team.

Plan and execute Web3-native campaigns, partnerships, and influencer programs.

Collaborate closely with Engineering and BizDev teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.

Analyze campaign performance and optimize for KPIs and ROI.

Manage and expand agency relationships.
Requirements

5+ years of marketing experience in the Web3 space.

Experience launching a Layer 1 blockchain and managing full go-to-market cycles.

Deep understanding of the blockchain/crypto community.

Proven ability to scale brands in highly competitive markets.

Expertise in brand positioning, growth marketing, and user acquisition.

Strong strategic thinking with a bias for creative, data-driven execution.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Leadership experience managing cross-functional marketing teams.
Nice to Have

Experience in gaming or gaming-adjacent communities.
