Position: Part Time Early Childhood Teacher (30 hours per week)

About the role:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join a wonderful team in Regional Victoria. This is a part time position with $21,000 worth of incentives for the successful candidate. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in New Zealand ECE teaching practices and a willingness to learn (or already have knowledge in) the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Victorian Early Learning and Development Framework (VELDF)

Key responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 0-5 years

- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment

- Conduct observations and assessments of children's development

- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians

- Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement educational programs

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:

- MUST HOLD New Zealand Citizenship OR valid working rights in Australia (please note we are only accepting candidates that are currently based in New Zealand and meet this criteria, ALL APPLICANTS BASED OVERSEAS WITHOUT WORKING RIGHTS WILL NOT PROCEED)

- ACECQA approved ECT level qualification 

- Valid VIT (Victorian teaching registration) OR current New Zealand Teachers Registration and ability to apply for a Mutual Recognition teachers registration. MUST have this prior to departure. 

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ECE setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
