About the Role:
The Entry Level Mechanical Engineer is an early career engineering role focused on supporting the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced mechanical systems and components. This position provides hands on exposure to full product development lifecycles, including prototyping, design for manufacturing, and commercialization. The role is ideal for a motivated mechanical engineer seeking rapid technical growth, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to innovative industrial products in a fast paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support new product and process development under the guidance of senior mechanical engineers.

  • Assist with mechanical design of prototype, pre commercial, and commercial products.

  • Create and modify CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.

  • Support design for manufacturing and design for assembly initiatives to improve quality and manufacturability.

  • Participate in engineering analysis, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.

  • Assist with prototyping, build support, and iterative design improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, bills of materials, and design records.

  • Demonstrate strong initiative, learning agility, and ownership of assigned tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

  • Entry level experience through internships, co ops, academic projects, or early career roles.

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • U.S. Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Exposure to CAD analysis tools, simulation, or basic CAE methods.

  • Experience with prototyping, testing, or manufacturing environments.

  • Interest in industrial equipment, machinery design, or product development.

  • Willingness to relocate and work on site in a hands on engineering role.
