About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and production equipment in an industrial environment. This hands-on role supports reliable operations by diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts that keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and production equipment.

  • Perform electrical diagnostics on motors, sensors, controls, and panels.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned downtime.

  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Support process improvements and reliability initiatives beyond reactive repairs.

  • Document completed maintenance activities and work performed.

  • Follow safety procedures and safe work practices at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work on industrial machinery, controls, and production equipment.

  • Experience diagnosing equipment issues independently and efficiently.

  • Self-directed approach with the ability to identify and resolve problems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs.

  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order tracking.

  • Experience with industrial controls, automation, or PLC troubleshooting.

  • Interest in continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
