About the Role:
The Accountant I is responsible for owning daily transactional accounting activities within a manufacturing environment, with a primary focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role supports accurate financial records, timely processing, and close coordination with operations and finance teams in a production-driven setting.
Responsibilities:

Own and manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes in a manufacturing environment.

Process vendor invoices, customer billings, payments, and collections accurately and on schedule.

Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.

Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end and year-end close activities.

Maintain accurate financial records within the ERP system and ensure proper documentation.

Assist with audit preparation by providing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.

Partner with operations, purchasing, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies related to manufacturing transactions.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

One to three years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and basic financial reporting.

Experience working with ERP systems used in manufacturing settings.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desired Qualifications:

Exposure to cost accounting or inventory accounting in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with internal controls and audit support.
