About the Role
The Production Supervisor manages shift operations in a food production facility, ensuring consistent product output, quality control, and team efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of daily production operations to meet quality and output targets
  • Monitor production schedules, adjust workflows, and allocate resources as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, OSHA)
  • Train and coach production staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices
  • Record production data, downtime events, and performance metrics for continuous improvement
  • Communicate with QA, maintenance, and inventory teams to resolve process bottlenecks
  • Enforce company policies and safety protocols across all shifts
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Solid understanding of production processes, food safety protocols, and quality control standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and team leadership skills
  • Familiarity with production tracking systems and Microsoft Office

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in operations management, food science, or business
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience with ERP systems and lean manufacturing practices
  • Knowledge of scheduling, labor planning, and production KPIs
