About the Role
The Quality Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality management system within a manufacturing environment. This position ensures that processes, documentation, and inspections meet established quality standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration processes and follow documented procedures
  • Interpret and adhere to Process Control Plans
  • Assist with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) developments
  • Conduct final inspections and assist in receiving inspections
  • Execute internal audits according to the audit schedule
  • Log and reconcile scrap material records
  • Complete Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIRs) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation
  • Comply with quality assurance requirements and standards
  • Follow Material Review Board (MRB) procedures
  • Work within the ISO 9001:2015 framework
  • Create and close purchase orders accurately
  • Assist in implementing and documenting corrective actions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing quality environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills for effective office management
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional communication skills with internal and external contacts
  • Effective decision-making capabilities
  • Familiarity with comparators
  • Ability to multitask with limited supervision
  • Strong safety awareness

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Positive written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in high employee engagement environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical prints
  • Skilled in using manual measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators (non-digital)
