Vice President of Sales Modular Construction
About the Role:
The Vice President of Sales drives the strategic growth and revenue performance of a leading modular construction organization. This executive-level position oversees all aspects of sales operations, business development, and client relationship management, ensuring sustainable market expansion and alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with experience in modular or construction environments, capable of developing high-performing teams and delivering results through data-driven strategy and relationship-based selling. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus commissions of 2% of net sales, capped at $400,000 annually.
Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed company revenue goals and growth objectives.

Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to deliver top-tier performance, fostering accountability, motivation, and collaboration.

Identify and secure new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and mixed-use modular housing markets.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, and key decision-makers to drive long-term partnerships.

Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.

Collaborate with design, project management, and marketing teams to align sales initiatives with overall business strategies.

Conduct detailed market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and inform pricing, product, and regional expansion strategies.

Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with company goals.

Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.

Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, CRM use, and performance tracking to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.

Proven success in sales management within the modular construction, prefabrication, or building materials industries.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles.

Experience developing and implementing revenue growth strategies for both B2B and B2C markets.

Proficiency with CRM platforms (such as Zoho CRM) and sales analytics tools for forecasting and pipeline tracking.

Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, and related marketing or collaboration tools.
