Our client is a global software and professional services company for the financial industry, with offices in the UK, USA, Germany, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. They specialize in working with investment banks to automate the issuance process for structured products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the whole production process, including change control and incident response.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup Applications: VMware Replication, Veeam, rSync Hardware: Installation, Configuration, Management of HP / SuperMicro / Intel / Dell Rack servers.
  • Expertise in provisioning server/VM as per requirement.
  • Expert in resolving issues on the Server and network issues.
  • Expert with monitoring & visualization using various tools, like Prometheus & Grafana.
  • Expert at AWS focused on Cloud Engineering (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53).
  • Virtualization and cloud infrastructure design and implementation (Proxmox VE, oVir, KVM).
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code to provision infrastructure using several tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Helm, Puppet, and Packer.
  • Build and support network (VPC/ VPN), encryption, certificates, and other AWS core infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and collaborate with support specialists and Cloud Operations / SRE.
  • Help evaluate emerging Cloud and DevOps technologies continually to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices to strengthen development practices.
  • Collaborate with and mentor team members within the Core Infrastructure team in Germany and the UK.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional work experience designing, managing, and automating infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in Linux system administration, including advanced troubleshooting, patching, and performance tuning in production environments.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins), infrastructure automation, and configuration management (e.g., Ansible).
  • Strong background in system operations (SysOps) within AWS, including use of AWS Systems Manager, EC2, patch management, AWS Backups, and related tools.
  • Deep understanding of AWS networking and security, including VPCs, VPNs, IAM, SSO, Security Groups, KMS, encryption at rest and in transit, and AWS WAF.
  • Experience with security tooling such as Elastic SIEM, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty, and CSPM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience securing containerized workloads, particularly with AWS EKS, ECS, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as RDS, EFS, Elasticache, S3, and CloudHSM is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in managing Git repositories (GitLab a plus) and collaborating via version control workflows.
  • Database experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL-based systems.
  • Exposure to DNS, WAF, and Zero Trust configurations via Cloudflare is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in agile, team-oriented environments.

  • Hybrid in Dhaka | Full-time
  • Salary: BDT 200,000 - 250,000
  • Benefits: Medical Insurance + PF + 2 Festival Bonuses
  • Work Week: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
