About the Role

The Sales Development Specialist is the first point of contact for prospects entering our ecosystem. This is a highly sales-driven, communication-intensive role requiring hands-on experience engaging US buyers over the phone. The person in this role will also help define best practices, call frameworks, and qualification standards as the team scales in Bangladesh.

This will help us establish our sales development function in Bangladesh, and is essential to ensuring a seamless prospect experience and maximizing the conversion of hand-raisers into high-value customers. The Sales Development Specialist is part of the Revenue Marketing team and is critical for supporting pipeline conversion and buyer success through timely follow-up, qualification, and effective lead routing. This position is an excellent opportunity for professionals aiming to grow into sales, customer-facing roles, or demand generation, with potential for future advancement into outbound prospecting.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound Qualification and Engagement:

  • Conduct effective discovery calls to qualify prospective buyers and clearly articulate the value of our solution.
  • Qualify inbound prospects through discovery calls to understand business needs and buying intent.
  • Act as the first point of contact for inbound leads from marketing and other channels.
  • Engage decision-makers and influencers through phone-based sales conversations.
  • Clearly communicate our value proposition and solutions.
  • Handle buyer objections with confidence and professionalism.

Establish Sales Development Function in Bangladesh:

  • Execute high-volume outbound cold calling and multi-channel outreach (Email, LinkedIn) to generate new business opportunities from cold prospects.
  • Conduct consistent, high-quality outbound calling to US-based companies.
  • Maintain accurate call activity, notes, and lead status in CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed outbound activity, qualification, and pipeline contribution targets.
  • Document call scripts, qualification criteria, and best practices for future hires.

Partner with the US Team to Create Our First Sale, Responsiveness and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams for smooth lead handoff.
  • Provide feedback from buyer conversations to improve messaging and targeting.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in Tele-Sales (inbound/outbound prospecting) for USA/UK/Australian companies.
  • Demonstrated success and proven track record in outbound prospecting and cold calling. Must articulate goal attainment and process to achieve success.
  • Comfortable on the phone, especially in an outbound motion. Motivated by the chase.
  • Familiarity with US sales culture and buyer expectations.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation, and sales enablement tools (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
  • Curiosity and a self-starter mindset—youre not afraid to dive into new verticals or conversations. Youll pick up the phone and make the call.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in tech marketplaces (preferably in the USA/UK/Australian companies), field services or high-velocity sales environments preferred.

  • Hybrid in Uttara 12, Dhaka | Full-time
  • Salary: BDT 90,000 - 130,000
