    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish the technology vision and direction for the teams, focusing on delivering the highest value outcomes.
    • Empower their clients' engineering teams to concentrate on delivering value by actively participating in the definition, design, construction, and operation of their internal developer platform and tools.
    • Lead and mentor on internal developer platforms, cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, and monitoring and alerting while establishing best practices for operational excellence.
    • To ensure that their clients' products exceed customer expectations.
    • Actively participate in the on-call rotation for incident response during working hours for the platform and associated tools.
    • Build monitoring systems that alert them to symptoms rather than waiting for outages.
    • Use metrics and data to continuously improve their products.
    • Define and measure the right Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and consistently strive to meet or exceed their Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
    • Identify and implement improvements in platform architecture and tools to reduce operational toil and enhance resilience and scalability.
    • Apply solid engineering practices to develop long-term solutions that prevent recurring issues.
    • Utilise chaos engineering practices to stress and validate that the right observability, monitoring, resilience, and HA/DR commitments are being met.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • 7+ years writing secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure as code and using standard SDLC methodologies for building, testing, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or related field, or relevant work experience
      Previous experience leads.
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps/SRE.
    • 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and Docker.
    • 3+ years of experience writing automation and tools using various scripting or programming languages.
    • 3+ or more years building, running, and operating cloud-native applications using Docker and one or more programming languages (NodeJS, PHP, or Go preferred).
    • 3+ years demonstrating leadership in technical best practices, quality, and delivery.
    • Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, MKS, RDS, and S3. (AWS CloudOps or Solutions Architect certifications preferred).
    • Proven examples of driving change and raising the bar across the team.
    • Very strong background and passion for building secure solutions.
    • Working knowledge of defining and managing SLIs and SLOs, and methods for using error budgets to ensure SLOs are met.
    • Strong knowledge of the English language and clear and crisp communication - both verbal and written.
    • Solid emotional intelligence and the ability to collaborate with others, especially under pressure.
    • Operational experience in networking, certificate management, DNS, content delivery networks, and Identity management.
    • Experience with observability tools, preferably Datadog.
    • Experience working in an agile development environment.

    Employment Structure

    • Hybrid in Dhaka | Full-time
    • Salary: BDT 290,000 - 360,000
    • Work Week: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (3 days remote, 2 days physical)
