About the Role

Our client is looking for a Lead Product Designer to take full ownership of their design ecosystem. You'll architect delightful user experiences and ship products at scale. Integrate and customize map-based libraries to build interactive, location-based UI/UX designs. You'll shape the product from 0 to 1, define design systems, and help build a design culture that punches far above its weight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the entire product design lifecycle, research, UX, UI, prototyping, testing, iteration, and delivery.
  • Design and ship beautiful, functional experiences across web and mobile.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to launch features that scale.
  • Build scalable, systemized design components and libraries using Figma and other tools.
  • Turn complex logistics workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces.
  • Conduct user research and transform insights into powerful design decisions.
  • Set design strategy and raise the bar for what great looks like at the company.
  • Mentor junior designers as the team grows.

Skill & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer.
  • Design Monk - design instincts should be exceptional, and deliver at a rapid pace.
  • Proficiency in Figma and fluent in the full modern design tool stack.
  • Experience with globally launched products at scale.
  • Design should prioritize scalability and clean systems for humans and future needs.
  • Focused on the needs of users.
  • Understand the journeys and pain points, and design accordingly.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • A natural communicator who excels in dynamic, cross-functional teams.

Employment Structure

  • Hybrid (expected to work 3x a week from office) in Nikunja 1, Dhaka | Full-time & Contractual
  • Salary: BDT 100,000 - 140,000
  • Benefits: Office breakfast and lunch + Company laptop will be provided + 2 festival bonuses per year + Can expect discretionary KPI bonuses for extraordinary performance.
  • Work Week: Sun-Thu, start-up environment working with Norwegian companies, so you can expect to work beyond that
