About the Role
Our client is looking for a Data & Analytics Manager to be the critical bridge between engineering and
analytics functions. This is a foundational role where candidate will shape how we collect, organise, and
derive insights from data across our entire business. Own the implementation of data
strategy from the ground up, making key decisions about the analytics stack while also rolling up sleeves to deliver actionable insights that drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation and execution of our data strategy, translating business needs into
technical requirements - Own the selection and implementation of our BI layer, evaluating and deploying the right
tools for our stage and needs. - Build and maintain our analytics infrastructure, including implementing tools like Databricks
to connect disparate data sources (HubSpot, our internal database, Xero, offline data, and
more). - Establish data governance practices and ensure data quality across all systems.
- Deliver deep product analytics using tools like Amplitude, PostHog, or similar platforms to
understand user behaviour, feature adoption, and product performance. - Conduct business analytics to track and optimise key metrics, including profitability,
marketing funnel performance, customer acquisition costs, and unit economics. - Build dashboards and reporting that make complex data accessible to stakeholders across
the organisation. - Identify opportunities and risks through proactive analysis, turning data into strategic
recommendations. - Analyse AI interactions across omni-channels.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure proper data instrumentation and collection.
- Partner with product, marketing, and finance teams to understand their analytical needs and
deliver insights that inform decision-making. - Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and business requirements for
technical teams.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a data or analytics role at an e-commerce company or
hyper-growth startup (this is essential). - Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, PostHog, Mixpanel, or similar).
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working with databases.
- Experience with BI tools and data visualisation.
- Understanding of data pipelines and how to connect multiple data sources.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Must be an excellent team player and be fun to work with.
- Data science skills (statistical analysis, predictive modelling, Python/R, machine learning) is nice to have.
- Experience with modern data stack tools (Databricks, dbt, Fivetran, etc.) is nice to have.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and attribution modelling is nice to have.
- Experience building analytics functions from early stages is nice to have
- Having an engineer + data scientist background is preferred.
Employment Structure
- Remote in Bangladesh | Full-time
- Salary: BDT 150,000 - 250,000
