About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a solid foundation in finance and accounting, preferably with a background in core banking or financial systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle Core Banking, or similar platforms and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Candidates from IBA or other top business schools are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, business process mapping, and functional specification creation for financial applications, including core banking, general ledger, accounting, and treasury modules.
- Work closely with stakeholders to analyze existing systems, identify improvement areas, and define scalable and compliant solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into detailed solution specifications.
- Participate in system configuration, UAT planning, and solution validation.
- Ensure solutions comply with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal audit requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between finance users and IT/development teams.
- Support data migration and validation activities during financial system implementations.
- Contribute to the development of user manuals, SOPs, and training materials.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (CA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent is a plus).
- 6+ years of relevant experience and 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working with financial systems or core banking applications.
- Prior experience with SAP, Oracle Core Banking, Temenos, Finacle, or other ERP/Banking platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across technology, finance, and operations.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and data visualization/reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Graduates from IBA (University of Dhaka) or other top business schools is preferred.
- Certification in CBAP, PMP, or ERP Finance modules is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Bangladesh Bank reporting, IFRS, and local financial regulations is preferred.
Employment Structure
- Onsite in Gulshan 1 | Full-time
- Salary: BDT 100,000 - 150,000+ (higher for deserving candidates)

- Work Week: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
