Founding Engineer, AI Agent Infrastructure & Frontend

Company Description

Our client is a talent agency hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based, Neo Accelerator-backed startup thats transforming the independent trucking and logistics industry. There are over 1.7 million small trucking carriers in the U.S. and most are drowning in outdated systems, endless paperwork, and zero automation. This startup is building a modern AI agent infrastructure to automate every back-office function for these carriers, helping them earn more and compete with industry giants. This is a mission-driven company focused on restoring balance to the supply chain by putting powerful technology in the hands of small fleets.

About the Role

• This isn't a typical frontend role. Its a founding seat full of autonomy, ownership, and high-impact decisions. You will:
  • Shape the product and stack from the earliest stages.
  • Build alongside the founders and influence hiring, roadmap, and design.
  • Own your direction. You'll set the pace and standard for the engineering culture.
  • Move fast, stay lean. Ship real features and iterate based on real-world usage.
  • Backed by Neo Accelerator and leading logistics/AI angels.

Key Responsibilities

• Build intuitive, high-performance frontend features in React (Next.js).
• Develop backend workflows and automations in Python using LLMs and serverless tools.
• Architect and iterate on intelligent agent systems for logistics back-office ops.
• Work directly with the founders to shape product, infra, and hiring.
• (Optional) Lead development on our first mobile product.

The Stack

• Frontend: React / Next.js
• Backend: Python, Serverless (Modal)
• Database: Supabase
• AI/Automation: LLMs, autonomous agents, task orchestration

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with React + Python.
• Familiarity with LLMs and agentic workflows (or eagerness to learn).
• Strong product instincts good taste and high standards.
• Strong English proficiency.
• Previous experience in an early stage startup is highly desirable.
• Bonus: mobile development (React Native, Flutter, etc.).
• Experience in logistics or operations is a plus, but not required.

Employment Structure

• Remote in Bangladesh | Full-time
• Salary: US$ 2,000 - 2,500
• Benefits: Project completion bonus
• Work Week: Monday - Saturday, 40 hours, some overlap with EST time zone.
