About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, intermediate-level Frontend Developer who can take ownership of WordPress and React/Angular projects, optimize for performance and SEO, and work in a modern, serverless environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end features for client websites and web applications using React, TypeScript, Angular, and WordPress.
  • Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins to match client requirements.
  • Manage and optimize serverless hosting environments (e.g., Vercel, Netlify, AWS Amplify, WP Engine, Kinsta, etc.).
  • Implement responsive and mobile-first design principles across all projects.
  • Perform technical SEO best practices (structured data, page speed optimization, meta tags, etc.).
  • Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals and overall PageSpeed performance.
  • Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver seamless full-stack experiences.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing WordPress and frontend projects.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development, WordPress, SEO, and serverless hosting.
  • Occasionally assist with client communications for requirements gathering, technical questions, and project updates.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Angular (at least 1+ year working knowledge).
  • Solid experience with WordPress theme and plugin development (PHP knowledge is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with serverless hosting platforms (e.g., Vercel, Netlify, AWS Amplify, Cloudflare Pages).
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript ES6+, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with headless CMS architecture and APIs (e.g., WordPress as a Headless CMS with GraphQL or REST).
  • Strong attention to page speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, and responsive design.
  • Good understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with a distributed team.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices related to frontend and WordPress (meta tags, Open Graph, schema markup, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Next.js or Nuxt.js is nice to have.
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, or similar serverless compute services is nice to have.
  • Experience with WooCommerce customization is nice to have.
  • Basic knowledge of back-end APIs (Node.js or PHP) for simple integrations is nice to have.
  • Understanding of marketing tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console is nice to have.
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools for translating designs into code is nice to have.

Employment Structure

  • Starting remote, eventually hybrid in Uttara, Dhaka | Full-time
  • Salary: BDT 70,000 - 90,000
  • Benefits: 2 Festival Bonuses (after probation) + Performance Bonuses
  • Work Week: Monday - Friday, 4 hours overlap with EST time zone
