About the Role
This role will conduct market research to bring back evidence-based insight that powers the growth opportunities pipeline. The insights this role brings back are material for the strategic planning process and the opportunity assessments this role drafts become the prioritized growth initiatives that fuel future growth! This role will report to the EVP of Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data-driven market opportunity assessments, including market sizing, segmentation, and customer need analysis.
- Analyze internal and external data sets using tools like SQL, Excel, and statistics, and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Support customer and market research, including interviews, competitive benchmarking, and secondary research.
- Continuously evolve our understanding of the market landscape - supply and demand trends, competitive dynamics, buyer behaviors, and how they map to company priorities.
- Collaborate with the EVP of Strategy and Sr. Strategy Analyst to deliver actionable insights for key strategy questions that continuously arise in the business.
- Be a proactive, strategic problem solver - if the answer isn't readily available, take the initiative to uncover it.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in a highly analytical role such as Market Analysis, Strategy Analyst, FP&A, management consulting, investment banking, equity research, or strategic finance.
- Proven in-depth experience in Excel, BI tools and data analysis; able to independently access, clean, and analyze large data sets with a business / strategic / financial acumen.
- Experience with SQL is highly desirable.
- Strong foundation in market research methods and business strategy frameworks; experience with segmentation, TAM/SAM/SOM, or competitive analysis a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to breaking down complex questions.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and turning disparate inputs into coherent insights.
- Experience doing customer interviews is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter mindset you're eager to dig into ambiguous problems and work cross-functionally to find answers.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Employment Structure
- Hybrid in Uttara, Dhaka | Full-time
- Salary: BDT 130,000 - 180,000

- Work Week: Monday-Friday, 3 days WFH, 2 days onsite.
- Working Hours:
- 3 days remote: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (4 AM - 1:00 PM CDT)
- 2 days onsite: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM BST (2 AM - 11 AM CDT)
