Job description

As a Long-Haul Team Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from Mississauga to Montreal and Boston, and back to Montreal and Boston on a recurring two-week schedule. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive long distances in a team, covering routes from Mississauga to Montreal and Boston, and vice versa.

Operate well-equipped trucks, which include amenities such as microwaves, and automatic transmission for driver comfort.

Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain clear communication with dispatch and logistics teams to update on route progress and potential issues.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck to ensure it is in optimal working condition.

Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in cross-border driving.

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.

Experience with refrigerated trucks (refer trucks) preferred.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to adapt to a two-week-long trip schedule.
