Senior ABAP Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ABAP Consultant to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions based on client requirements

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and provide technical recommendations

- Develop technical specifications and documentation for ABAP programs and interfaces

- Conduct unit testing and support system testing and user acceptance testing

- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP developments and technologies to continuously improve our services

- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities

- Communicate project progress and status to project managers and stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ABAP Consultant, with at least 3 years of experience in a senior role

- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language and development tools

- Experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, and ISH

- Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP ABAP projects on time and within budget

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with Agile project management methodologies is a plus

- SAP certification in ABAP is preferred.
