Position Overview:
Tap Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join Welbe Health in San Jose, California. In this role, you'll work as part of an interdisciplinary care team providing essential rehabilitative and adaptive support for frail and elderly participants. Your work will directly improve the quality of life, independence, and safety of older adults through personalized therapy plans and compassionate care.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.

  • For degrees earned outside the U.S., an equivalency evaluation confirming U.S. standards is required.

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant License, or proof of eligibility.

  • Reliable means of transportation.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting, preferably with frail or elderly populations.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective therapy for participants with complex needs.

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
