Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join the team at Seaside Hospital in Seaside, Oregon. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications while supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring safe and accurate medication management for patients.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $46,000 to $70,000 annually based on experience and provides an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians looking to grow their careers in a hospital-based pharmacy environment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician license upon hire or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.

• One of the following experience pathways:

  • Minimum of one year (2,080 hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification, OR

  • Minimum of two years (4,160 hours) of hospital pharmacy experience if not PTCB certified.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician training program.

• Specialty certification (e.g., ACPE-approved sterile compounding certification) when applicable to the role.

• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs).

• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
