Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Physical Therapist – Orthopedic to join the rehabilitation team at Providence in Hood River, Oregon. In this role, you will provide outpatient orthopedic therapy services to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions while helping them restore mobility, strength, and overall function.

You will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to develop individualized treatment plans that support recovery and long-term wellness. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $96,000 to $149,000 annually based on experience, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, OR
    • Master's degree in Physical Therapy, OR
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Active Oregon Physical Therapist license upon hire.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensure in states where care is delivered as required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support patient care delivery.
  • Specialized physical therapy training or experience may be required depending on departmental needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in orthopedic and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong manual therapy and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
