Job Overview:
A state-of-the-art oncology center in Coos Bay, Oregon, is seeking a skilled and certified Radiation Therapist to join its patient-centered cancer care team. Key Responsibilities:

Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.

Operate radiation therapy equipment and ensure accurate setup, imaging, and dosage delivery.

Monitor patient responses and maintain detailed treatment records.

Follow strict safety and infection control procedures in all treatment areas.

Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physicists, and other oncology professionals.
Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.

State of Oregon license in Radiation Therapy Technology.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (or eligible with certification required within 6 months of hire).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).

High school diploma with completion of a 24-month course in radiation therapy or a college-level radiation therapy program.

Up to five years of continuous employment in radiation therapy accepted; new grads welcome.
Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
