Position Overview
Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Oncology team at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka in Eureka, California. In this role, you will administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established treatment protocols.
You will collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists to deliver accurate and effective treatment plans in a patient-centered oncology environment. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $111,000 to $143,000 annually based on experience, along with relocation assistance and an extended bonus for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved therapeutic radiologic technology training program.
- Registered Technologist – Radiation Therapy (R.T.(T)) certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, or
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized training in dosimetric techniques and the physics of radiation treatment planning.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary oncology team.
