Job Overview:
Will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and executing electrical engineering activities within the power generation field. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems, equipment, and processes
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in the generation field.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and implement corrective measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in generation systems.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, operations, HSE) to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for management.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in the power generation industry.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the power generation field.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, Hazards & Risk Assessment.
- Strong knowledge of power generation systems, electrical distribution, and protection systems.
- Proven experience in project management and leading technical teams.
