Job Purpose:

To ensure that all projects and operations meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements by implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits and inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional Responsibilities

  1. Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
  2. Ensure all processes, procedures, and work instructions are documented, controlled, and effectively communicated
  3. Contribute to IMS certification, surveillance, and recertification audits
  4. Map and review business processes to ensure efficiency and consistency
  5. Develop and implement QA plans and quality control procedures
  6. Monitor process performance against KPIs, SLAs, and defined quality benchmarks
  7. Develop and maintain quality dashboards and reports
  8. Plan and conduct internal audits in accordance with ISO 19011
  9. Participate in external audits, client inspections, and regulatory assessments
  10. Identify non-conformities and ensure timely closure through corrective actions
  11. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper documentation and tracking
  12. Lead root cause analysis using structured methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, ICAM)
  13. Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  14. Map, review, and optimize business and operational processes
  15. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend improvement actions
  16. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
  17. Develop and maintain quality dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports
  18. Analyze trends, recurring issues, and process deviations to support decision-making
  19. Ensure proper document control for all quality-related documents
  20. Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, NCRs, and CAPA actions
  21. Ensure traceability of materials, processes, and deliverables where applicable
  22. Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and project teams to embed quality requirements
  23. Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors on quality-related matters
  24. Conduct regular quality audits on service interactions, processes, and outputs

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline)

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in utilities, oil & gas, or construction sectors.

Languages

  • Fluent in English (Written & Spoken).

Required Competencies:

- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001)
- Certified Internal Auditor (ISO) or experience in internal auditing practices
- Experience in audits, inspections, and managing CAPA
- Professional certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA) are a plus

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and projects
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
