Position Overview:
As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist at TAQA Arabia, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the end-to-end supply chain processes to support our operations across Egypt. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and services to meet our operational needs while optimizing costs and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Procurement and contract Management:

    • Oversee the procurement process from requisition to materials, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.

    • Manage RFQ and PR requirements and administration, including quantity terms, pricing, and performance evaluation.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Optimize inventory levels to meet operational demands while minimizing carrying costs and ensuring availability.

    • Implement inventory control measures and systems to track and report inventory levels accurately.

    • Using new tools and systems to ensure the requirements items, quantities and descriptions are matched 

  • Operations and Distribution:

    • Coordinate fleet moving goods from different locations, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.

    • Evaluate operations performance metrics and implement improvements to streamline processes and reduce costs.

  • Materials Planning management  

    • cooperate  to ensure that master data for all projects are in place to have smooth materials  management process 

    • identify  any bottleneck that could be improved to release a faster materials planning scheduling  

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience 4+ years in supply chain roles within the energy or utilities sector, with a strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and ability to manage complex projects.
