Transportation Operations Engineer

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Keeping and Maintaining a good business relationship with TAQA transportation contractors.
2. Supporting CSC `planning team and Terminals Dispatchers in owned and non-owned terminals to resolve any issues related to the daily plan.
3. Reviews the daily plan to ensure the highest level of utilization of the tank trucks.
4. Prepares the Tank Trucks daily availability report and ensures the availability of the required number of tank trucks to achieve the daily plan.
5. Reviews on a daily basis the unfulfilled orders to ensure that any issues related to transportation contractors are resolved timely.
6. Follow up transportation contractors to implement transportation safety management systems including tank truck operating and maintenance standards and drivers selection, monitoring and training systems.
7. Monitoring a sample of the tank trucks within Delivery operation to ensure that the GPS is functional
8. Supports incident response by quickly visiting the incident scene in case of any incidents for reporting, investigation, analysis and sharing lessons learned from these incidents with the contractors and drivers.
9. Coordinates and participates in monthly drivers safety meeting.
10. Conducts safety talks with the drivers as required.
    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
    Effective communication skills.
    Good knowledge of computer skills & MS office
    Good command of English Language (written & spoken)
    EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
    University Degree (Mechanical Engineering Bachelor).
    Work experience. 0-2 Years
