Senior Application Manager

Job Summary

TAQA Holding is seeking a seasoned Senior Application Manager to lead the management and support of a portfolio of enterprise applications and technology solutions. The role involves overseeing architecture, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications, while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead full application lifecycle management: package/vendor selection, workflow analysis, implementation, training, UAT, deployment, and go-live.
• Manage change requests, project budgets, procurement, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, financial controls, and risk mitigation standards.
• Supervise application maintenance and software contracts.
• Act as a business partner for TAQA Petroleum, supporting affiliate budgeting and performance planning.
• Oversee internal ticketing systems and performance evaluations in coordination with the CIO.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in application management.
• Strong background in implementing enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle) , SAP background is a plus
• PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of professionalism

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or data engineering is a strong plus.
• Eagerness to learn and patience in managing complex environments
