Job Summary
The Senior Procurement Specialist in TAQA Arabia is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality, compliance, and supplier performance. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to support operational and strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management

Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery

Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and service-level agreements with suppliers

Manage supplier relationships and performance, including evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations

Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support procurement decisions

Collaborate with finance, operations, legal, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs

Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value through process improvements

Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing

Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and spend analyses for management
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Experience managing supplier relationships and performance

Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools
