Position: Junior Legal Associate – For Regional Companies- Corporate Governance

Level: 2–3 years experience

Role Overview

The Junior Legal Associate – Corporate Governance will support the legal and compliance team in ensuring the company's adherence to corporate laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies. The role involves assisting with board processes, statutory filings, and corporate compliance matters inside and Outside Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with corporate governance laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Support preparation and maintenance of statutory records, registers, and corporate filings
  • Assist in drafting board resolutions, meeting minutes, agendas, and corporate policies
  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for Board, Committee, and Shareholder meetings
  • Conduct legal research on company law, SEBI regulations, listing obligations, and governance standards
  • Assist with secretarial compliance, annual filings, and disclosures
  • Support due diligence exercises, audits, and regulatory inspections
  • Draft and review contracts and agreements.
  • Liaise with internal departments, external counsel, and regulatory authorities under supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB / JD or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of corporate laws, company law, and governance frameworks
  • Experience on the drafting contracts and agreements in English and Arabic overseas
