Job Overview
Will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical engineering activities within the power generation field. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment in the power generation field.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as industry codes and standards.
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues related to turbines, pumps, compressors, piping systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, operations, HSE) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and recommendations for management decision-making.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in the power generation industry.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the power generation field.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, Hazards & Risk Assessment.
- Strong knowledge of turbines, pumps, piping, HVAC, and other generation-related mechanical systems.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.
- Experience in managing engineering projects and leading technical teams.

- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
