OFC Technician - One Network

Our client One Network is looking for OFC Technichian.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and repair fiber optic networks and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install and test optical fiber cables.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot fiber optic network issues.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fiber optic systems.
• Use specialized equipment to splice and terminate cables.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Provide technical support to clients as needed.

• Basic understanding of optical fiber networks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

• 3-year's Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics or relevant field.
  
• Relevant technical training or certification in fiber optics is a plus.
• Less than one year of experience in fiber optic installations or maintenance preferred.
