- Own the systems, processes, and experiences behind hiring, onboarding, performance, engagement, and culture.
What You Will Do
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead end-to-end hiring (sourcing screening offers onboarding).
- Set SLAs and publish weekly funnel metrics
Onboarding and Employee Experience:
- Create day-1-ready onboarding (checklists, access, training).
- Continuously reduce time-to-productivity for new hires.
People Ops Excellence:
- Own policies, handbooks, HRIS/ATS hygiene, employee records, and compliance.
Performance and Productivity:
- Run performance review cycles (cadence, inputs, calibration).
- Define KPIs/OKRs with managers and drive action plans.
Engagement and Retention:
- Run pulse surveys and programs that improve eNPS, recognition, and manager effectiveness.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Maintain role levels and pay bands.
- Partner with the CEO on review cycles and progression frameworks.
Automation and Reporting:
- Eliminate manual work via HRIS/ATS workflows and light scripting.
- Ship accurate dashboards for leaders.
Employer Brand:
- Keep careers presence sharp (JD quality, candidate comms, interview experience) across Taraki and LinkedIn.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- At least 4 to 7+ years across People Operations and Talent Acquisition in fast-paced product/startup environments.
- Hands-on with ATS/HRIS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, BambooHR) and strong G-Sheets/Excel skills.
- Clear communicator with high empathy and sound judgment; a trusted partner to leadership.
- Process builder who goes from zero policy adoption measurable outcomes.
- Discreet and reliable when handling sensitive topics.
Nice to Have
- Multi-country hiring exposure and contractor/payroll understanding.
- Experience creating job leveling frameworks and compensation bands.
- Programs shipped that measurably improved retention or NPS.
Success in the First 90 Days
- Hiring funnel live with defined SLAs and weekly insights.
- Standardized onboarding in place; ramp time measurably improved.
- Performance cadence agreed; templates and calibration plan ready.
- Baseline engagement metrics defined; top 23 initiatives launched.
