Structural Draftsman - Work Together

Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed drawings of structural elements and assemblies using CAD software. - Reinforced Concrete Buildings. - Collaborate with structural engineers and architects to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards. - Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes in design or field conditions. - Maintain organized records and documentation of all drafts and revisions. - Assist in the development of shop drawings for fabrication purposes. - Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure precision and adherence to project requirements. Requirements: - 1-2 years of experience in structural drafting or a related field. - Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools. - Strong understanding of structural engineering and construction principles. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings. - Ability to work closely with a team of engineers and designers under tight deadlines. - Good communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholders. Qualifications: - Associate's degree or diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. - Certification or training in computer-aided design (CAD) is preferred. - Familiarity with building codes and industry standards. - Strong analytical skills to understand complex architectural and engineering plans. Additional Skills: - Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects concurrently. - Strong organizational skills to maintain documentation and drawing archives. - Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve drafting issues. - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
