Full Stack Engineer

Description

Were looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our team, with a primary focus on front-end development. Youll work closely with our founders and engineering team to build new features, improve user experiences, and help shape the future of our startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development Efforts: Own the engineering process from design to deployment for critical features and projects.
• Frontend & Backend Work: Build and maintain our Next.js front end and Django back end, ensuring clean, maintainable code. GraphQL & Stripe Integrations: Implement and optimize GraphQL endpoints, with a particular focus on upcoming Stripe integration projects.
• AWS & Docker: Leverage AWS services and Docker for reliable, scalable deployments.
• Establish Best Practices: Improve our basic CI/CD and testing frameworks, ensuring high code quality and reliability.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with the CEO, CTO, and engineering team to drive technical strategy and deliver features on time.
• Startup Mindset: Adapt quickly to evolving requirements, take ownership of challenges, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Full Stack Skills: Proficiency in Next.js (React) on the front end and Django on the back end.
• Communicative you arent afraid to ask questions or bring up concerns
• Proactive you dont just execute, you help us think through better solutions
• Excited about joining a small, mission-driven team where your work will have a big impact.
• GraphQL Experience: Familiarity with GraphQL for building and consuming APIs.
• Cloud & Containerization: Comfortable with AWS (or similar cloud providers) and Docker for deployments.
• Self-Starter: Ability to self-manage, self-police code quality, and work efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bonus: Prior Stripe integration experience or knowledge of Stripe Connect.
