Construction Manager Finishing

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all finishing activities on multiple construction projects.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality work and adherence to timelines.
• Ensure all finishing activities are completed in accordance with client specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to construction and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans to ensure quality and precision in finishing work.
• Develop and implement project schedules and work orders for finishing tasks.
• Manage and control costs, ensuring the project is completed within budget.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the finishing stages of construction.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and change orders.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in construction management, specifically in finishing works.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and building materials related to finishing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
•  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

Requirements:

• Availability to work in-person on the construction sites.
  
• Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
