GSM Engineer

Duties and responsibilities

• Will support and lead GSM-R activities from Design Engineering, Installation, Deployment, Commissioning, and Testing of the GSM-R system.
• Will support project managers as technical lead/manager for GSM-R
• Will coordinate with GSM-R supplier of the project
• Responsible for ensuring design criteria for GSM-R are met
• Responsible for ensuring implementation, deployment, commissioning, and testing of GSM-R
• Lead deployment teams, testing, and acceptance teams

Job Requirements

• At least 5-10 years of experience in mobile communications
• Licensed ECE Engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in Design Engineering, Installation, Deployment and Commissioning, and testing of GSM systems (i.e. MSC, BSC, SGSN, GGSN, Core), preferably NOKIA
• Preferably with knowledge of GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications Railway)
• Good communication skills, technical writing
• Good Leadership skills
