Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri ; 11am-8pm

Requirements:

  • Tenured candidate with 10+ yrs relevant experience
  • Experience with AWS CloudFormation
  • Proven experience in finance, particularly supporting real-time trading systems and handling market data.
  • Background in operating within a regulated financial firm/institution
  • Experienced in working with early-stage start-up teams and multinational global teams
  • High proficiency in English communication skills
  • Ideally, with experience working with Fintech and SME
  • Willing to do on-call for a few hours on a Saturday only during a scheduled deployment
  • Willing to do overtime if necessary
  • Willing to do RTO in the future, depending on business needs

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Utilize the command line and Kubernetes manifests for deployments within AWS EKS clusters.
  • Configure ingress/egress controls and routing policies across AWS and EKS environments.
  • Perform Linux system administration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Secure Linux environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate deployment processes and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Jenkins, Jenkinsfiles, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Manage Jenkins servers, build agents, webhooks, scheduled jobs, node taints, and executor configurations.
  • Monitor cloud estate using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Contribute to scripting and coding efforts using Bash, Groovy, Jenkinsfiles, and Python.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure provisioning scripts using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Work within Agile frameworks such as SCRUM and Kanban.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, including global and local groups, with exposure to the full Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with QA engineers and SDETs to integrate and maintain automated testing solutions.
  • Partner with the DBA team for infrastructure support and automation efforts.
  • Support disruptive testing efforts by coordinating with development and QA teams during designated testing periods.

The infrastructure team functions as a global unit, and the successful candidate must be confident in supporting clients across any location and at any level.
