TASQ is seeking a lead Azure DevOps engineer for a remote role with working hours from 5 pm to 2 am. Due to logistical reasons, we can only select Philippine-based applicants.

The role involves leading efforts to implement DevOps solutions using Azure. It is a technical, consultative, and client-facing position responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting client solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting, with successful experience in technical implementations and project execution.

Key responsibilities include contributing to the design and delivery of cloud solutions for clients, collaborating with solution architects, and supporting project efforts from a technical perspective.

You will be involved in implementing solutions into client environments and assisting with the deployment of workloads into Azure.

Providing technical expertise across four main areas is essential: data center transformation, Azure infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.

Candidates should possess over five years of experience in system administration (Windows or Linux), DevOps, software development, or IT operations.

At least three years of experience in migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions is required.

Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Ansible (or similar) is necessary.

Experience implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent tools is essential.

A minimum of one year supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure or similar experience with AWS or GCP is preferred.

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, or related languages are important, with experience in any public cloud environment.

Familiarity with various cloud deployment strategies and an understanding of modern cloud ecosystems and emerging technologies are highly valued.

Candidates should demonstrate skills in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.

Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

The ability to work independently or as part of a virtual team is essential.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is expected.

Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Chef, Puppet, Docker, or Kubernetes, and holding relevant Microsoft certifications.
