Role Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer responsible for designing and implementing DevOps solutions in Azure. This role combines technical expertise with client-facing consulting, overseeing solution development, delivery, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting, technical implementations, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in designing and delivering innovative cloud solutions for our clients.
- Participate in technical planning, design, and project delivery.
- Collaborate with solution architects to support technical aspects of projects.
- Implement designed solutions into client environments.
- Assist with designing and deploying client workloads in Azure.
- Provide specialized technical support in the following areas:
- Data Center Transformation
- Azure Infrastructure
- DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud Automation
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in system administration (Windows and/or Linux), DevOps, software development, or IT operations.
- More than 3 years of experience in migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Ansible (or similar tools).
- Practical experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) using Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools.
- At least 1 year supporting Azure infrastructure and architectures (or comparable experience with AWS or GCP).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.) with automation experience in any public cloud.
- Knowledge of various cloud deployment methodologies.
- Understanding of cloud ecosystems and emerging cloud technologies.
- Skills in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a virtual team.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
- Experience with Chef, Puppet, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
