Proficiency in authoring tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Articulate, and Creative Cloud is essential, along with skills in graphic design and digital audio production.

**Job Overview:**

The Instructional Designer for Digital Learning will develop content across various learning formats, including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and eLearning, with an emphasis on eLearning, microlearning, and learning validation tasks. This role includes creating storyboards for content that will be handed over to Digital Developers for implementation. Additionally, the position supports the Learning Management System for internal training and client requirements. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling and creating engaging user experiences.

**Responsibilities and Duties:**

- Design and create materials, programs, curriculum, and course content for online training, catering to both classroom and self-directed learning environments.

- Utilize authoring tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, and video editing software to develop engaging content for instructor-led training and microlearning modules. Familiarity with Cognota is a plus.

- Develop engaging content for virtual and in-person classroom settings based on supplied materials, ideas, and stakeholder feedback.

- Produce a range of learning deliverables (courses, games, videos, quizzes) that cater to different learning styles and levels of expertise.

- Apply adult learning models, including Agile, ADDIE, and the Dick & Carey Models, to guide the content development process.

- Ensure timely production of materials within budget and in line with the training roadmap.

- Adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and deliver high-quality materials.

- Create templates and master files for training resources.

- Develop instructor manuals, rubrics, and other supporting tools for facilitators.

- Understand branding and the technical specifications required for digital outputs.

- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

**Required Knowledge and Skills:**

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and lead discussions to clarify learning needs.

- Strong consulting, communication, and engagement skills with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create training materials that address performance or skills gaps.

- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

- Proven ability to complete the entire training cycle, including needs assessment, planning, development, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation.

- Proficient in technical writing and documentation.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation abilities.

- Familiarity with online, instructor-led, and e-learning software applications.

- Understanding of adult learning theories and best practices in facilitation, training, and blended learning solutions.
