Senior Backend Developer (WordPress or Drupal) | Hybrid

Shift Schedule: Can start any time between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, as long as the full 8-hour shift is completed.
Hybrid Setup: Primarily remote, with occasional onsite work required at least once per month

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering or related fields
• 5 years minimum experience in backend development with a focus on WordPress or Drupal
• Strong knowledge of PHP and SQL
• Experience with headless integration, including decoupled architecture and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge and experience working with WPEngine and/or Pantheon
• Ability to implement custom plugins and themes in WordPress or custom modules in Drupal
• Understanding of web security best practices and the ability to implement security measures for websites
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Good understanding of hosting environments, server administration, and optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and project management tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience in JIRA or at least other ticket tracking tools
• Must have a fast and stable internet connection
• Preferably, available to start immediately
