IT Infrastructure and Operations Specialist (Makati) | Hybrid

Work Setup: HYBRID / 3X ONSITE – MAKATI / 2 DAYS WFH

Work schedule: 8am - 5pm

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Infrastructure and Operations Specialist to be a cornerstone of our technology team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of our critical IT infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the stability, performance, and security of our server, network, and cloud environments, providing a reliable foundation for the entire organization. You are a problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about keeping essential systems running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Management & Support:

• Support google suites and applications
• Perform routine system patches, updates, and health checks.

2. Network Administration:

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Configure and administer network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Provide support for VPN, VLANs, and other network services.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures.

3. Cloud & Storage Management:

• Support and manage resources in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Monitor cloud resource usage and performance.

4. Operations & Security:

• Serve as an escalation point for the Help Desk, resolving complex Tier 2/3 technical issues.
• Implement and follow ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Execute and verify data backup and recovery operations.
• Apply security patches, configure antivirus solutions, and assist in enforcing security policies.

5. Documentation & Projects:

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, contributing to the deployment of new technologies and systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• Associates or bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an infrastructure support or systems administration role.
• Proven experience with:
  • Windows Server OS and Active Directory.
  • Core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
  • Google applications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Communicator: Able to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to team members and non-technical users.

Preferred:

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Google cloud / Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+/Server+, VMware VCP, CCNA).
• Experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Knowledge of ITIL framework foundations.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
