Work Setup: Hybrid - Onsite every Tuesday and Thursday, with occasional onsite work on Fridays as needed (around once or twice a month)

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8AM to 5PM

Work Location: Mandaluyong City

The Project Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing important client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope. This includes coordinating all project activities, setting deadlines, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and preparing reports for senior management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field
  • 2+ years experience in tech project management, with a focus on SaaS products
  • Highly experienced in handling complex projects following SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall)
  • Previous experience in handling 5 to 10-man roster project/s
  • Good leadership skills, risk management, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in handling web, mobile, or general software developments, or related work within the SaaS or eCommerce industries
  • Experience in project planning, resource deployment, and release management
  • Able to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Proven ability to do software release project management and resource planning
  • Experience in handling web, mobile, or general software developments, or related work within the SaaS or eCommerce industries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Build all project plans (work plan, team structure, team process, stakeholder involvement plan, configuration management plan, management plans, and the like) under the guidance of the Project Management Officer;
  • Execute project plans and meet the organizations standard schedules and quality;
  • Monitor project execution and provide reports/status updates to the internal management and stakeholders. This includes the management of stakeholder relationships and expectations for the duration of the project;
  • Ensure that contracted development and work requirements are fulfilled. Process scope changes and project issues in stride. Proactively identify risks to improve project success;
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.

General Department Coordination:

  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospective meetings;
  • Conduct conflict resolution with scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect in mind;
  • Prepares the backlog items for recurring sprints or project implementations.
