Top 10 Finance firm in Dublin is looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's indirect tax compliance and reporting, as well as providing tax advice to the business.
This position requires a comprehensive understanding of indirect tax laws and regulations, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with these laws. The successful candidate must also possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage the company's indirect tax compliance and reporting, including filing of returns and payment of taxes.
Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with indirect tax laws and regulations.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise the business on the implications of these changes.
Provide tax advice to the business on a range of matters, including VAT, customs duties, excise duties, and other indirect taxes.
Prepare indirect tax estimates and forecasts.
Liaise with tax authorities as required.
Provide training and guidance to other team members.
Assist in tax audits and other tax-related projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional accounting or tax qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in indirect tax.
Strong knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
