  • fortnightly country incentive zone allowance payments in addition to your normal salary up to $11,059 per year
  • a one-off incidentals payment upon accepting your first permanent teaching position up to $1145
  • locality allowances
  • compensation for removal and relocation expenses
  • government employee housing concessions
  • travel and accommodation to access medical and dental treatment
  • study leave and travel leave (after a minimum service period at Aboriginal or Anangu schools)
  • guaranteed return to a metropolitan site after a minimum service period.

About the Roles

As a teacher primary or secondary teacher in South Australia, you'll:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school initiatives.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelors degree in Education (or related field).

  • NZ Teacher Registration and a recognised New Zealand teaching qualification.

  • Teaching experience (essential).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
