About the Fellowship

Teach the Nation, in partnership with the Mosaic Foundation, is placing passionate, qualified novice teachers in high-need Limpopo schools for a 2-year paid fellowship. This opportunity is for educators who want to build their teaching practice, grow as leaders, and make a meaningful impact in classrooms and communities.

What You'll Do

As a Teaching Fellow, you will:

  • Teach a STEM subject (Maths, Science, Technology) in a Limpopo school for a period of 2 years.
  • Participate in 2 years of structured professional development.
  • Receive ongoing coaching, observation feedback, and leadership training aligned to the School Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Use real-time classroom data to improve learner outcomes.
  • Contribute to building learner leadership, confidence, and engagement.
  • Attend workshops, webinars, and a 3-day Summer Institute to strengthen your practice and connect with other fellows.

Who Should Apply

Were looking for teachers who:

  • Are 21–35 years old and qualified in Maths, Science, or Technology (B.Ed. or PGCE).
  • Have 0–5 years of teaching experience.
  • Are SACE registered
  • Are based in Limpopo and willing to be placed in a township, rural, or peri-urban school.
  • Are motivated to grow, committed to learner success, and passionate about strengthening South Africas education system.
